Thursday, April 7th, 11am – Environmental Justice Kahoot

Join Student Life for a fun, virtual trivia game with prizes!

Monday, April 11th, 3-4pm – Sustainability Career Panel

Join Job Readiness and Counseling for a virtual Q&A with five panelists working professionally in Sustainability fields. Door prizes will be awarded to attendees!

Monday, April 18th, 3-4pm – Conservation Volunteering

Join us for a virtual session on opportunities to volunteer in conservation, with Biology Professor Joan McKearnan and May Yang-Lee of Conservation Corps of Minnesota and Iowa.

Tuesday, April 19th, 9am-12pm – PTK Campus Clean Up (Grand Staircase)

Join Phi Theta Kappa to help clean up litter on the ARCC Anoka County Campus. Check in each hour at the foot of the Grand Staircase. Supplies will be provided to volunteers. For more information, please email

Thursday, April 21st, 1-2pm – Solar Energy 101

Join Charles Mollenkamp of All Energy Solar for a virtual presentation about opportunities for installing solar panels and reducing your dependence on fossil fuels.

Friday, April 22nd – Pledge to Walk or Bike on Earth Day!

Pledge to walk or bike on Earth Day and receive a free plant from Anoka County Transit Unit. Check out their other Earth Day activities as well!

Tuesday, April 26th, 1pm – Water Sustainability Kahoot

Join Student Life for a fun, virtual trivia game with prizes!

Thursday, April 28th – Sustainability Day at the OSCARS

Join us to see sustainability related Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities from ARCC students.

Thursday, April 28th, 2-3pm – LN3 Film Viewing

Join us for a viewing of the film LN3: 7 Teachings of the Anishinaabe Resistance, which focuses on indigenous resistance to fossil fuels and oil pipelines in Minnesota, followed by a discussion. Student attendees will be entered to win one of four FREE bikes!

Monday, May 2nd, 10-11am – Raptor Center (Student Center Stage)

Join us for a presentation on raptors and a chance to see them up close – including a bald eagle!
