ARCC Sustainability is happy to present our Earth Month 2026 offerings. We hope that you can join us for one or more of these exciting events!

FRIDAY, APRIL 3RD, 2:30-3:30pm – Sustainability Book Club (Zoom & Cambridge F223) – Join us for a discussion of Ch. 13-17 of Silent Spring by Rachel Carson

MONDAY, APRIL 6TH-FRIDAY, APRIL 10TH – Clothing Pass-It-On (Rapids Courtyard Commons) – Visit the Courtyard Commons to give away clothes you no longer want and/or take some new threads!

TUESDAY, APRIL 7TH, 12:30-1:30PM – Rain Down the Drain: Environmental Protection of Minnesota Waterways (Rapids BN212) – Join ARCC Safety Administrator Zach Bell for this Brown Bag event (with free cookies!) to learn the ways ARCC works to mitigate Mississippi River illicit discharges and how the wider community can participate in protecting freshwater in MN.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 8TH, 10-11:15am – En-ROADS Climate Action Simulation (Rapids Legacy Room, SC270) – Join us for a fun and educational simulation to learn about which climate solutions actually work!

FRIDAY, APRIL 10TH, 4-5pm – Sustainability Career Panel (Online) – Hosted by the Upper Midwest Association for Campus Sustainability, join us to learn from a panel of alumni from UMACS campuses who are now working in sustainability careers.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 15TH, 12-1:15pm – En-ROADS Climate Action Simulation (Rapids L132) – Join us for a second fun and educational simulation to learn about which climate solutions actually work!

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 15TH, 4:30pm – ARCC Faculty & Staff Earth Month Gathering – Faculty and staff are invited to join us at Forgotten Star Brewing in Fridley.

TUESDAY, APRIL 21ST, 11am-1pm – Campus Clean-Up (Rapids Courtyard Commons) – Join Student Senate and volunteers as we help to clean up litter on campus grounds! Visit the Courtyard Commons to check in and pick up gloves and bags.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 22ND – Fix-It Clinic (Cambridge) – Join us for this one-day event to have small mending and repairs done on clothing and accessories.

THURSDAY, APRIL 30TH – Sustainability Day at the OSCARS (Rapids) – Join us to learn about Sustainability research projects being done at ARCC, and visit the BN Bulge to pick up some free pollinator seeds, make an Earth Month button, and to share your thoughts on ARCC Sustainability!
